Rainbow Bridge — A Story

When you get into the field of life with dogs, dog rescue and dog lovers, you will inevitably encounter the Rainbow-Bridge. Below one of my favorite Rainbow-Bridge story.

Unlike most days at RainBow Bridge, this day dawned cold and gray, damp as a swamp and as dismal as could be imagined. All the recent arrivals were confused and concerned. They had no idea what to think for they had never experienced a day like this before. But the animals who had spent some time waiting for their beloved people knew exactly what was happening and began to gather at the pathway leading to the Bridge to watch. They knew this was something special.

Success is worth it – Thinks that work

When you consider all the work that those active in the rescue field go through each day, sometimes you wonder is it worth it. But, then just one little success answers the question. A happy dog face, a wagging tail – Pappy Paws running free. That’s all it takes to remind us why we are doing this.

Successes come great and small and in all shapes and sizes – humans saving dogs – and dogs saving humans. There are many things that work.

Watch out for the “Things that work” category blogs to uplift your heart.

When you go online, you not only see the bad news, there are many many people out there doing what they can, where they are, to help. I will post a link to the blogs with those good news topics as I am able to post them. Just know: You can make a difference.
