They had been living in a car until the man became deadly ill and had to be hospitalized. Dying of cancer, he was soon transferred to a hospice. He wanted to see his dog and asked for it several times. His dog, Yurt, went to a shelter. One of the medical workers knew the shelter and a visit got arranged. It was instant recognition. The man died a couple of days later – Yurt got adopted.
This made my day that day.
How good to die knowing people cared and Yurt had a home. What is going to happen to your dog in case you can’t take care of it anymore?
